Vacuum sealers

26 Items

Product overview

What are the benefits of vacuum sealing in everyday life?

Vacuum sealing not only helps to preserve food for longer, but also ensures more organization and efficiency in the kitchen. Vacuum-sealed food requires less space in the fridge or freezer as excess air is removed. At the same time, portions can be prepared precisely, which reduces food waste and makes shopping planning easier.

Another advantage is protection against freezer burn. Thanks to the airtight seal, the structure, color, and taste of the food are preserved even during long-term freezing. The difference is particularly noticeable with high-quality products such as meat, fish, cheese, or fresh vegetables.

Vacuum sealing and Sous Vide cooking

Vacuum sealers are also the ideal addition for Sous Vide cooking. In this process, vacuum-sealed food is cooked in a water bath at constant, low temperatures. This method allows for particularly even and gentle preparation. Meat remains juicy, fish tender, and vegetables retain their natural texture and flavor.

Reliable and consistent vacuum is crucial for Sous Vide cooking. CASO vacuum sealers ensure a secure seal so that no water can penetrate the bag during the cooking process, guaranteeing optimal results.

Which foods are particularly suitable for vacuum sealing?

Basically, almost all foods can be vacuum sealed. Fresh meat and fish, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, and vegetables are particularly suitable, as are cooked meals, sauces, or marinades. Even dry foods such as coffee, nuts, or spices benefit from oxygen removal, as aroma and freshness are preserved for longer.

Liquid or very moist foods are ideally vacuum sealed with a chamber vacuum sealer. Alternatively, they can be frozen briefly before vacuum sealing to allow for a clean seal.

The right equipment for optimal results

For a reliable vacuum result, the right accessories are just as decisive as the device itself. High-quality vacuum bags and foil rolls ensure a secure seal and are tear-resistant as well as boil-proof. Vacuum containers are particularly suitable for delicate foods that should not be crushed, or for daily use in the refrigerator.

With vacuum solutions from CASO Design, you get a well-thought-out system that adapts flexibly to your needs – from occasional use in a private household to regular use with high demands on quality, durability, and convenience.

  • What should you look for in a vacuum sealer?

When buying a vacuum sealer, several factors are crucial. First, it should be clear what the device will be used for. For private households, a powerful external vacuum sealer (bar sealer) is usually sufficient, while a chamber vacuum sealer makes sense for frequent use or moist foods.

Important criteria are constant vacuum performance, a reliable sealing seam, ease of use, and the ability to use different programs for dry and moist foods. Build quality and compatibility with bags, foil rolls, and vacuum containers also play a central role. CASO vacuum sealers are designed exactly for these requirements and offer a durable and safe solution for everyday kitchen use.

  • Which is the best vacuum sealer from CASO?

The best CASO vacuum sealer is always the one that perfectly fits your area of application. For the classic household, powerful external sealers with automatic programs and stable sealing functions are suitable. They offer a very good balance of convenience, performance, and space requirements.

Those who regularly want to vacuum seal liquid or very moist foods, or have particularly high demands on the vacuum, will benefit from a chamber vacuum sealer. These devices generate a particularly even vacuum and are ideal for demanding applications such as Sous Vide cooking or high-level food storage.

  • How many watts should a good vacuum sealer have?

Wattage alone is not a quality feature but gives an indication of the device's power reserve. A good vacuum sealer for private use is usually in the medium power range and offers enough power to reliably build up a stable vacuum.

More decisive than wattage is the combination of motor power, vacuum pressure, and sealing quality. CASO vacuum sealers are tuned to work efficiently without consuming unnecessary energy, while delivering consistently high-quality results.

  • Can you use normal freezer bags with a vacuum sealer?

Normal freezer bags are not suitable for vacuum sealing. They are not structured, not airtight enough, and cannot be reliably sealed. As a result, no stable vacuum is created and the shelf life of the food is not improved.

For a safe result, only special vacuum bags or foil rolls should be used. These are tear-resistant, impermeable to air, and matched to the sealing performance of CASO devices. This is the only way to protect the contents in the long term.

  • What special features should I look for in a vacuum sealer?

In addition to performance and build quality, handling in everyday life should also be considered. A good vacuum sealer is easy to clean, offers intuitive controls, and stops the process automatically as soon as the optimal vacuum is reached.

Additional functions such as a pulse function, programs for moist foods, or a connection for vacuum containers significantly increase ease of use. CASO vacuum sealers are designed to be flexible and adapt to different requirements without any problems.

  • What is the difference between a foil sealer and a vacuum sealer?

A foil sealer simply seals the foil without removing air from the bag beforehand. It is mainly used to close bags but offers no protection against oxidation or freezer burn.

A vacuum sealer, on the other hand, actively removes oxygen from the bag and then seals it airtight. As a result, food stays fresh significantly longer, retains its aroma, and is better preserved. For sustainable food storage and modern kitchen processes, a vacuum sealer is the much more effective solution.
